Greetings Nomads,

Another fine golfing day held at Sheppies, a huge thank you to Jessie Verster and the staff at Sheppies for making our day a success.

To everyone who assisted John Ridl to set up the alter and take it down, thanks it’s a pain in the butt to do it on your own.

Chaps our Andrew Mentis Golf Day is upon us and to everyone who has entered a 4 ball and has invited a guest to play from all the captains we thank you.

This is our opportunity to showcase what Nomads is all about and the ideal way to get other golfers involved in Nomads. We will be flighting our latest media video for the first time at Club level, and this will refresh your mind what our ethos is and give an indication to our guests who we are. I urge you all to take note of this.

The raffle tickets for the full set of TaylorMade golf clubs will be distributed to everyone and you are encouraged to sell or buy a book. The cost per ticket is R100 , same as last year and the value of the clubs  are R60 000.00.

The golf set will be on display at Sheppies at the Andrew Mentis Golf Day, and we will draw the winning ticket at Gold Cup in December like we always do.

We will continue to accept any late sponsorship or donation.

Our field for Umdoni is abysmal and we need to get the numbers up, please if you have not entered for the monthly game kindly do so,

Lastly the entries for Nationals will be closing shortly, if you are considering going to Koro Creek, please get your entry in to  Chris Brooks. We need to fill our allocation please.

Till next time keep it on the fairway.

Shaggy.
