Greetings Nomads,
There are not many things in life that we are not in control of, and alas on the South Coast the big one is the weather, it matters not how well and precise the planning and supposed execution of our monthly game is, when the weather Gods decide to dump 200mm of rain the day and night before , things can get messy and muddy.
Understandable Wild Coast chose to protect their waterlogged course and postpone our game by a week only for the rain to reappear and drench the course once more. However, it was not all doom and gloom, for Sheppies offered their facility and we had a course to play. We did however have a reduced field size as may Nomads just could not play due to work and travel commitments.
Nomads the Andrew Mentis committee has been elected and we must now turn our attention to finding a suitable beneficiary, so if anyone has an idea or name get hold of the VC. We in turn will be looking for sponsors for our golf day which is pencilled for Oct or November.
Our next game is at the picturesque Umdoni Golf Course, if you have entered, I would urge you all to support your club and attend prize giving.
Remember the 2nd round of the GPKO is out and the games must be played by 11 July 2023.
